ALARO CITY EPE
The North West Quadrant Development Company FZC is a Joint Venture between the Lagos State Government represented by Lekki Worldwide Investments and Rendeavour.
The North West Quadrant Development Company FZC Board members are: Chairman Teni Zacchaeus, Stephen Jennings, Dr. Babatunde Sodade, Frank Mosier, Hakeem Adeniji, Rotimi Oyekanmi and Yomi Ademola.
Lekki Worldwide Investments Limited is an investment company promoting the development and operation of the entire Lekki Free Zone; an exclusive economic zone located over 16,500 hectares of land in the Ibeju-Lekki-Epe axis of Lagos State. The primary objective of the company is to attract new industries & technology, and securing economically viable investments which will transform the Lekki axis into a modern city. Ultimately, the goal is to develop the Lekki Free Zone into one of the largest and most preferred mixed-use investment opportunities and destinations in Nigeria.
PROJECT PLANS
Alaro City is planned as a 2,000 hectare city within the North-West Quadrant of the Lekki Free Zone.
The first 1,000 hectares has been master-planned by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill alongside local planners, Cityscape.
As with other cities by Rendeavour, Alaro City is designed as an inclusive mixed-use, mixed-income city. This means that everything you would expect within our current cities will be present. Homes, shops and retail units, commercial offices, light industrial and warehousing and logistics will all feature heavily. Social amenities such as parks, schools and health centres will also be present within Alaro City. All will be underpinned by the Rendeavour standards in urban infrastructure and utility provision seen in our other cities across Africa.
